Lyrics
I'm hanging on
Here until I'm gone
I'm right where I belong
Just hanging on
Even though
I watched you come and go
How was I to know
You'd steal the show?
One day I'll have enough to gamble
I'll wait to here your final call
And bet it all
I'm hanging on
Here until I'm gone
I'm right where I belong
Just hangng on
Even though
I pass this time alone
Somewhere so unknown
It heals the soul
You ask for walls I'll build them higher
We'll lie in shadows of them all
I'd stand but there much too tall
And I fall
February stars
Floating in the dark
Temporary scars
February stars
February stars
Floating in the dark
Temporary scars
February stars
February stars
Floating in the dark
Temporary scars
February stars

Better-quality QuickTime at http://homepage.mac.com/mlostracco/lights/
Here's a better sound-synced version of the "February Air" video that I made in September of 2006. I was sad to disable the other one because it had more than 155,000 views and more than 700 comments, but YouTube doesn't let you replace the video without deleting everything. Because of the way YouTube transcoded the video, the audio in the other one was totally out of sync, even though it was fine in the master.
Anyway, this promo video was done for only $500 with only two hours with her because she was getting on a plane that afternoon. It was meant for use only as a 30-second promotional clip for a Sony campaign (that's why nothing much happens in it), but I had the footage, so I extended it out to the length of the song.
The video was shot at the beginning of September, so it was actually not cold at all, but quite warm. The winter coat is a prop and I added the snow that starts about halfway through in post-production (though you can't see it as well on YouTube).
Everyone keeps asking the same questions over and over, so here are the answers to the common ones:
• Yes, it's really her.
• The video was shot in Toronto in September of 2006. The video was shot on this rooftop, if anyone is THAT interested: http://tinyurl.com/ysucc8
• Old Navy picked up this song and some of her others for their 2008 spring campaign.
• Her name is Valerie Poxleitner, but she goes by "Lights."
• Yes, she's a blast to work with and a fantastic person and talented artist.
• Her MySpace is http://www.myspace.com/lightsnoise
• A 6-song EP is finally available on iTunes in Canada, and a 4-song one on iTunes in the U.S.
• Yes, I shot the video.
• Yes, her hair is long now.
• Yes, I realize that nothing much happens in the video.
• She's signed to Underground Operations in Canada (http://www.undergroundoperations.com/ )
• The Old Navy spots are at http://www.oldnavy.com/next/
• The dark clouds in the video are real.
• The "snakebites" that commenters mention are the piercings in her lip (I don't think she has these anymore).
• It's not the official video for this song. It's a promo video from when she was an unsigned artist.

So... another video of Josh Groban! My first video of the year!!! ^__^ I hope you enjoy it and check out my other videos as well! I don't own any of the pictures.
What the song means to me:
When I hear this song... I think of who I was in the past. How, I wish I could make myself better, to make my parents more proud of me. So, when he sings where has that old friend gone, I think of the person who I was. And it reminds me of how my life can be hard on me and how I try to escape from it. And how I don't want to let anyone down and it's hard for me to get back up on my feet and when I do (sometimes, not often) I have to fight to stay there and sometimes I do fall again. So, this song has helped me a lot and has lifted me off my feet so often. So, a special thanks to Josh Groban for helping me through all this. Thank you so much!
~Christine

Rare footage of Bill Chase and his band performing live at the Faces club in Chicago on February 28, 1974. This video was shot during the album release party for the Pure Music album. This is the only known concert footage of the band. This clip is the encore with solos by the whole trumpet section.
Sadly, just six months later, Bill and three members of his band were killed in a plane crash.

Stephanie Announces She's Pregnant
Later in the evening with a huge smile still on her face, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley headed to the ring. The Billion-Dollar Princess called her husband down to the ring because it was time for her big surprise! The Game joined his wife in the ring, but didn't look like he was too enthused by whatever she had to say.
Stephanie said that last week on SmackDown!, she had an epiphany, and although she hated to admit it, she saw that J.R. was right about a couple of things. She said it did seem like their marriage was falling apart, and there was only one way to prove their love for each other. She said that next week on RAW, they should renew their wedding vows! She said she waited to make the announcement until they were in Las Vegas, since that's where they got married in the first place! She asked Triple H what he thought, and The Game said it was the stupidest idea he'd ever heard! He asked what was the matter with her, and why did everything have to be on live TV? He asked why everything they did all had to be in front of the world, no matter how private. Stephanie said it was because of the fans, who all doubted her, and thought she was a failure in life. She said the fans thought she was just hanging onto Triple H's coattails, and she said her reputation was on the line, and that Hunter had to do this for her.
Triple H asked if this Monday on RAW she wanted him to renew their wedding vows and to stand in front of the world and to express his love for her. Stephanie said yes, and The Game said no. Stephanie said he couldn't say no, and that he had to do this for her. Triple H then snapped, asking why he had to do it for her! He said she always got her way, and that it was all about her! Stephanie began to cry as The Game began to walk out on her -- and she then revealed that she is pregnant! She said she didn't want to reveal this in front of everyone. She said that's why she was so moody and argumentative. She said it didn't matter what anyone else thought, and that she knew how bad he wanted to be a dad and how bad she wanted to be a mom. She said that's why they should renew their vows -- so they could be a family. She said not to do it for her or for him -- to do it for the baby.
The Game pondered for a few moments, and then got a huge smile on his face! He hugged his wife and gave her a big kiss to celebrate the news!

couple then got onto the stage and sang "When you came into my life" for Triple H and Stephanie, as is the World Wrestling Federation tradition. Stephanie was clearly beaming the entire time.
The minister said that Triple H and Stephanie had written vows to each other, and Stephanie was first. Stephanie said she took Hunter as her husband again, in front of the world, because she wanted to share how she felt about him since the moment she laid eyes on him. She said his smile lit up her heart, his touch made her feel safe, and his words gave her encouragement. She said he was the only one who ever really heard her, and she felt they were destined to be together. She closed by saying, "I love you!"
Now it was Hunter's turn. The Game said that Stephanie's speech was beautiful, and he was overwhelmed. He said he too wanted to tell her how he felt about her. He said they'd been together for more than two years, and they'd had their ups and downs, but despite all of that, last week when she said he would be a father, it was the greatest moment of his life. He said that since that day, he had looked at her in a different way -- not just as his loving wife, but as the mother of his child. He said that when your wife is pregnant, you love her more.
He said standing here tonight, he saw her in a different light again. He said tonight he saw her not just as his loving wife or the mother of his child, but he saw her for what she truly was -- a no-good lying bitch! He screamed at her, asking how she could do this to him! He asked why she had lied, accusing her of hiring an actor to play a doctor, and then faking a picture of their unborn child. Hunter said he had done some pretty bad things, but even he would not go so low. He said she disgusted him, and she cared about nothing but herself, and she never cared about him. He said she didn't have to worry about "us" any longer, because as of this moment, their marriage was over! He said they were through!
Vince got in The Game's face, pushing him away -- causing Triple H to knock Mr. McMahon to the ground! He then destroyed the altar, and gave Vince a Pedigree! Stephanie got right in The Game's face, and he snapped, shoving her to the ground! He ripped the wedding ring off his finer and threw it down onto his soon-to-be ex-wife! Stephanie screamed at Triple H as RAW went off the air!

Chris Marlowe and Scott Hastings provided the commentary for a memorable night at the United Center. J.R. Smith went off for a career-high 43 points (including 30 in the 2nd half and 23 in the 4th quarter). Smith played 33 minutes went 15-25 from the field and 8-14 from 3range. In the 4th J.R. was 7-12 from downtown Chi-Town including a redic 6 in a row from 23 plus feet.
In the end the first quarter which went 33-22 for the bulls was too much to overcome. (His 43 points off the bench was the most in 3 years)
