Chris Haslam and Alex Olson tearing up the skatepark of Rouen during the Independent Tour 2008, on Saturday September the 20th Featuring : - Haslam and Olson skating the streetpark. - Haslam using the Bowl as a mini and tearing it up. - A game of SKATE with Haslam with some crazy ass trick (nollie 540 bigspin heelflip and fs antibigspin flip) About the demo : Actually, it wasn't much of a demo. The skatepark was so crowded that Haslam and Olson could barely skate. Moreover Haslam was was assaulted by kids wanting autographs. So they didn't skate much. Jeff Grosso and Stu Graham were also here, but they almost didn't skate at all, all they did was skating the bowl for a few minutes and then drink beer [especially Stu Graham ^^]. Navarette was not here. Since no one was really skating, we asked Haslam if he wanted to play SKATE, and he said yes. Unfortunatly so many people joined the game that it went crazy, and after 10 minutes Haslam got out of the park. But it was fun anyway. After the demo, we went to the shop, and there Haslam, Olson and Graham had a signing session. I got Haslam to draw a dick on my griptape, my friend got him to sign his math stuff. I also got several autographs from Olson and Graham. After that they threw some stuff while kids were fighting to get a board or stickers. And eventually they went to the restaurant. And I left. I guess they went into a bar [ouch ! lol] after that. That was a great session, even if there was no real "demo" and despite the fact that I'm currently recovering from a slight ankle injury (freebord...) Music is : - Drunken lullabies, by Flogging Molly - Me gustas tu, by Manu Chao PS : for some reason Youtube fucked up the end of the video... PPS : Haslam is much more shy in real life than he seems to be in videos ! But maybe that was cause he was tired due to the trip, or to the fact that the skatepark was crowded... And so was Olson [he didn't yelled "FUCK !" when he bailed (like in the Fully Flared)]
